I am looking for an extension spring to act as my throttle rerurn on my R1.

I have run a bike cable from the throttle cam and need to ferminate it with a spring at the other end. preferable a couple of inches long max.

I found brake drum fitting kits to be a useful source of springs. Might have a few left if that's the sort of thing you are looking for?

Anglepoise lamps and old car seats are a good source of springs.

On Ebay you can get kits with "various" extension springs in..... I was going to suggest haberdasher's elastic but I don't expect it would take the heat too well....
