Anyone got a one of those Raceline water rails for a Zetec lying around they want to pass on?

Yeah got loads of them lying about... I wish at over a hundred quid a pop. I could not justify buying one so I made my own using the existing thermostat and a length of stainless tubing back to the top of the radiator.

A water rail is only needed if the engine is butted up so close the the scuttle you can't get the standard thermostat housing on there.

I didn't need a water rail. The original thermostat housing fitted without a problem so i just sourced some stainless tube and silicon hose to assist with plumbing to the radiator.

Just finishing off my plumbing, more pics in my archive under zetec water folder.

Tiger uses the original thermostat housing and a length of ally tube as above.
