wanted

ecotec cam pulleys

or might they be the same as an XE?

same profile as very late xe's, square teeth rather than round iirc. oh and slightly smaller as the valve angle is different and the head is narrower so they're closer together.

so they're different?

Thanks ned

late xe's (after a certain engine no) used the same pulleys as the later ecotec. There might be some info on sbd's site, I'll have a look. Why not just get some verniers

Ned.

not sure if it was the same time they went to the plastic auto tensioner or not. LN meant 'low noise' and was an attempt to meet newer regs before they had to change the valve inclination angles to get through the more stringent emissions regs as the xe put through too much on cam overlap and over run iirc.

pps here you go:

so if it's an xe newer than 93 and has the squarer style pullleys it 'should' fit
