Pete, is it either of these? pics attached. I removed them both from my 2.0 DOHC Sierra donor. The black module has upon it - 86FB-12A297-AA

it look like edis with a pipe on the front
big plug with 14 wires and a bolt in the center i have just striped one its got 87bb12a297-ea on this one but it was off a injection

Thanks for trying, and the pics Snippy, they look like EEC IV components from an injected dohc..
