Wanted: Zetec inlet manifold flange
UncleFista - 20/6/07 at 04:54 PM

I rang MNR earlier today 'cos I've left it late to get a hold of one and I can drive and pick one up from there

Unfortunately I forgot Marc is getting wed soon so they can't do me one 'til mid-July

Does anyone know of somewhere I can get a mild steel Zetec inlet manifold flange (phew!) from please ?

TIA Tony

i made my own from a bit of 12mm stainless plate cut to shape and put 4 38mm holes in it with a hole saw for the down pipes , welded the pipes in and then matched the holes to the head with a die grinder. It was hard work but a lot cheaper and an option if you cant get one.

I think Custom Chrome in Nuneaton do them.

Apparently they were doing them for a tenner at a show last year.

And:

Lists Zetec SE.

Edit: Beaten to it on custom chrome!

Damn, just edited my post to say Inlet, not exhaust

I got it right in the title, but not in the body, sorry folks.

Soooo, inlet manifold flanges anyone ?

Cheers

That's an ominous silence.

Bugger.

Looks like I'll need to make my own.

If I was to make a template for an engineering firm to plasma-cut me one out, how much would I need to offset the template by ? ie whats the radius of a plasma cutter head ?

Thanks in advance.
