I havn't stripped it out yet but I think I broke a piston while on my way to Le Mans.

Does anyone know where I can get a cheap 2.0 Silvertop Zetec as this might be cheaper than rebuilding.

I don't need any ancilleries (or hopefully even a cyl head) as I will use those off my existing engine.

I have tried the bay of E but they are all looking for £250ish which seems a bit steep.

Once I get it stripped out I can assess which way to go but am looking to find an engine just in case.

Have you looked into the price of a short block

It may be possible to buy a complete Mondeo MOT failure for less than an engine ?

Or try the local scrappy?

Local scrappy in Plymouth charges 100 for a silvertop.
