Isn't it against the law to sell a log book unless it's accompanied with the car it relates to?...Something to do with "ringing" if I am not mistaken.

ringing would be putting the plates and ID onto another car, i think its probably acceptable to sell the id by itself.

Same again in the Southampton area.
