Wont be locost if you commission someone to fabricate it for you from scratch.
Out of interest, what engine in what van?

engine is a golf gti mk2 8v and the van is a vw campervan, type 2, year 1971

If you want to do it cheaply and not have a "professional" fabricate one for you, then I would say to chop up the 8v exhaust and tack it (or even tape it) together and then get a local welder just to weld it up for you.

If you want to go one step further you could buy an aftermarket exhaust (like a TSR one) off ebay and do the same as above...

Try Pipewerx they did my Golf GTi and are absolutely superb

Ian used to own Dubsport and his workmanship is second to none...

Dave Tyler in Wooton Bassett nr. Swindon is worth a try. Tel: 01793 849430. He can be a bit elusive this time of year as he's doing exhausts for the classic racers. Not partic. cheap but first rate work and really knows his stuff.
Cheers, Pewe PS mild steel only though - no stainless.

Mike at Tube Engineers near Lincoln does excellent work and in fact makes some tubular suspension components for Bowler so he is well respected, wont be bargain basement but he is value for money.
