it's high pressure, but unless you specifically need it to be thinner wall, it's a fair bit cheaper even with postage.

Slight change of plan, might go with the stainless braided. I know I dont need to on the grounds that it is the low pressure side of the system, but the first few inches are exposed to to the road, although not below the lowest line of the chassis. Figure it will be tougher if it gets hit by a stone.

Question is this, does this type of hose have any give in it? ie will 10mm ID stretch over say a 13mm fitting?

i'd say it has some, but not that much.

stainless overbraid even less so. if it was a 13mm fitting i'd definitely look for 12mm i/d.
