As per tittle really.
I have got to ask here, because you never know, one of you will have a good one laying around looking for a good home.

Idle Air Control valve.
For Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 Decamber 1995 (N reg).

Bosch part number : 0 280 140 516

Beer tokens available.

edit bit ... Also fitted to some volvo's (440, 460, 480) and some saab's

Has it really given up the ghost. Squirting copious amounts of carb cleaner into every every 6 months or so fixes mine....

I could live with it, BUT, its the wifes daily driver and an auto, once hot every time she takes her foot of the accelerator, it stalls.

wierd...initial symptoms mine gives out is it decides to rev to about 2k for about 20 secs when starting from cold.

I've got 2 here at the moment with that part no on them but I can't say for sure if they are serviceable. What I can say is that they came from a 16v redtop engine and a 2ltr 8valve carlton engine so it looks like a very common part across the vauxhall range. I've a v6 meega as well so I'd prefer to keep the parts sorry. just letting you know that there are lots out there.

Clean it out with carb cleaner and clean the throttle butterfly and housing. Usually does the trick.
