I have an offer on a Gems mini dls ignition only ECU. Unfortunatly the software is missing and this is no longer supported by GEMS or OMEX who took over the design and modified it to work with their software so if this is to be of use I need to find some older gems software that works with this ecu. anybody out there can help?

Don't forget that a built Megajolt, to run ignition only, from someone like Ray Ward on this site, is less than £100. It comes with the software and plenty of support available on this site and the home Megajolt website.

Can you try the OMEX software as its free to download?

What you might be missing is a specific ECU config file. I think the are called GIN files.

I spoke with Omex, they changed the processor and internal code when they licensed the product to allow it to run their software so it is not compatible as is and they said it is uneconomic to upgrade the unit to run their software
