Lets see what you got for sale
just took delivery of a leaking plastic one that wants copying in stainless.
how come its being copied. Would have thought the plastic would be lighter than the stainless. Also, how does the stainless compare with the ally weight wise?
owner of the plastic one has tried and tried to fix it, but just wont seal, i was asked to make one, stainless is what i do, ally we dont do alot of. Dont think he's bothered too much about weight
approx weight and cost of one in stainless?
Will it be alot heavier in stainless?
what engine are you using?

Blade engine is going in my kit.
Let me know how you get on with the current one.
Who makes the plastic ones?
dont know who does the plastic ones, will keep you posted on the fabrication.
I got an aluminium one allyfab weighs 3.2kg (6gallon). Nicely made too, and cheaper than plastic.
Car Builder Solutions do plastic ones. The issue can be sealing between the metal insert fittings and the plastic, which put me off them. I
don't think that plastic gives a weight saving over ally.
