Any ideas?

Hello
I do not have a plasma cutter yet but will be buying one soon. I do have a Tig welder from R-Tech Welding who also do plasma cutters and have found them very helpful might be worth a try.

Do you have any photos of a cut you have made with a plasma cutter I was just interested to see how clean the cuts our and if there are any tricks to it all. ( may be using argon instead of air form a compressor ? )

Any way hope the link is of some help.

Jason

Clarke is Machine Mart brand, they should carry all the spares and consumables. You could try Welduk for consumables as well if they are generic spares.

I've just had some components cut from 4mm steel on a CNC plasma cutter and it is pretty accurate. Easily held 0.5mm and cuts very clean apart from some erosion where the cut is started. Not sure you'll get the same accuracy by hand but got to be better than a gas axe!
