I know this has been asked a million times, but I couldn't find anything through searching:
Does anyone know of a decent source of thick walled ali tube to make a linkage for my paddle shift - I assume to tap out to M8 it'll need to be
6mm or 7mm ID.
Cheers
Steve
Hi steve
pop down to your local BQ can get solid ali tube m8 and you can drill and tap it its cheap to.
Would that be a round bar ? To tap to M8 you will need it to be 10mm round which sounds a bit large.
Try and see if you have a metal superstore near you they only charge for what you need. http://www.metalsupermarkets.com/MSC-storefinder.aspx
Steve,
I have some spare from when i did mine, how much do you need?? I ended up buying 5meters!
It;s proper thick walled ali tube which you can tap with 8mm thread.
