Due to me not paying attention while cleaning up my spare computers drive I have stupidly removed my AutoCad program, now realizing I got that copy
from my old work. So now I need to buy a copy…sigh
AutoCad 98 anyone??
I have some later versions, what OS are you using?
You can always get a free "academic" copy of Powerdraft.
That computer is running windows 98 and this one is on windows xp. I have tried some other free software but seem to be totally stuck in my ways and struggle with them, AutoCAD is what I know...pathetic isn't it
think I may have 2005 let me know if you need to 'borrow' it
I have 2004 & 2006 which both run happliy on XP. I have had the 2004 running on Vista, so I guess 2006 would run on that too.
A copy of either (or both) is yours if you want it.
Don't you need a dongle for access?
I've got a 2002 copy if you're stuck...
Marc
thanks for all offers of help guys, one of the members has kindly helped me out.
I think the dongle ones were just one way of licencing, my old work was just supplied the disks.

Dongles went out when licence codes came in, I think that was 2000i.
AutoCAD doesn't change much with each revision, but the newer ones are nicer. Not worth the extortionate upgrade fees IMHO when doing it legit.
Most people only need LT anyway.
