wanted alley cats or simalar
Duncan Mould - 15/12/07 at 08:14 PM

I am rebuilding a dutton phaeton and searching for some alleycat alloys (like the ones on the brochure car) or simalar era wheel.
Looked on ebay cant see anything, can anyone help.

What series of Phaeton ?

i.e. does it have triumph front or escort ?

S4 I think it has capri pepperpots on it at the moment, bit tatty.

You could try Andy S (on here), he had some Compomotive 14" cross spokes (not sure if the offset is any good, but i'm sure he would be able to confirm as he knows his Duttons )

Have a look on this link

Hi Duncan,

how about some OLD SKOOL 14" revolution 5 spokes?

Where are you located?

ivw got 2 X 14" allycats in good nick.....or would swap 4 X 13" alleys for 2 more 14" jobbies if you get my drift

I also have two Ford-fitment 14" Allycats in pretty good nick. I may be persuaded to part with them for the right price, bearing in mind that I'd want the tyres off them so that would factor into the cost.

Make me an offer if you're interested.

They went ages ago Jonno -

For the rear of an S3/S4 with the Escort axle you need spacers fitted with most of the typical Ford RWD ET23 for 6" rims - I think the Wellers etc. originally supplied with the kits had zero offsets.

With the MK1 Capri Axle or the Cortina MK2 you can get away an ET23 6" rim with no spacers.

14" x 6 rims with 195/60 tyre would suit the car quite well. But stick with the retro dished style types
