Can you buy the red led bulb that is fitted inside the savage switch warning light? I have a brake fluid/handbrakewaring light that for some reason has started illuminating very dimly when activated, suspected a dodgy earth but on investigation and stripping the switch and removing the bulb it is the bulb itself that is faulty and not the wiring, So back to the original question can the bulbs be bought seperatley or is it a case of buying a new warning light switch. thanks
try askin chris aka zxrlocost if he not on line try phoning him good bloke he sells a few savage switches
I saw them in Europa when i was there a couple of months back. They do different colours too - not just blue. Think there was red, green, yellow etc
They are not bulbs - but LEDs. I tried to find some spares but ended up buying a new switch.

) but seems a pity to buy a new one for the sake of a lamp.quote:

They are tiny leds with built in resistors - about the size of the smallest dash bulbs.
Switches are made I think by a company called APEM and the spec sheet HERE
Shows the bulb type as a midget grooved T1 3/4 filament or led.
They can be found HERE
part no's 42-1030 to 42-1031 only in red and green though.
