as it say, looking for some small non-electrically conducting screws, e.g. from nylon but 2.5 mm or 3 mm. need 6. would be helpful to have nylon nuts too but I guess steel ones will work, assuming same pitch.

and thermal conducting glue? may try a DIY version of 2 part epoxy with copper filings mixed in.
Anyone tried this? What short of proportions would I be looking at to achieve good stickness and good conductivity? 50/50? more? less?

why do they sell nuts in 50 bags but bolts in 100??????

IMHO, copper filings and glue wont work too well..


Just use normal glue with a wire to provide electrical conductivity

I've seen the metal filings used before, it does work. Depending on the load you can mix a lot of metal in over 80% weight for weight as the particals only need a microscopic coating to bond them. In modelling I use tiny hollow glass beads in epoxy to make a strong kind of filler.

try www.modelfixings.co.uk for nylon bolts and nuts etc in small quantities. They sell all sorts of small fixings and bits!
