Hi folks,
I am after either a shortened Pinto sump or I I think is it the RS2000 sump which is made shallow? I tried to modify mine but made a right hash of it
so has anyone got one and if so how much would you want for it? I would probably prefer a new one so the RS2000 one is preferable but still, any would
suit really - beggars cant be choosers!
Cheers,
Matt
Like
this?
NTDWM by the way.
If you do get one make sure you get the pick up pipe as the standard one is no good with the RS2000 sump.
It's also worth getting an RS2000 ally bellhousing to go with it as the sump and bell housing bolt together.
HTH
Cheers

Remember the RS2000 one is ali and will crack if hit (which will happen fairly frequently in the average Seven unless you fit a sump guard). I'd go with a welded steel one - much tougher.

The best solution i have seen to this is from the F2 stock car guys it consists of a reasonable plate steel base uniform height and looks bomb proof!
my alloy rs2000 sump was good but still hung 3+ inches below the chassis. price i recon around £100 but you'll have no problems with it and its
new! I can find more info, no problemo!
