919 Blade fuel pump
carpmart - 22/6/08 at 08:58 PM

Guys

Can anyone help me out with a fuel pump for a Fireblade, 1996-99 vintage, it may be ok with an earlier blade pump as thats a carb engine as well?

Thanks in advance!

Harvey

Forgot to ask, are these still available from Honda bike dealers?

you should be ok with the vast majority of carbed bike pumps as long as you don't mind fabricating a new bracket or different mounting holes.

when i was looking for one, blade pumps sold for about £35. i got a thundercat pump for £15 including post and is essentially the same pump, just a different bracket.

It needs to be a blade one as its for my race car and I 'borrowed' one this weekend and need to return a 'spare' to this fellow racers parts stash!

The RRT and V blades don't have pumps, they rely on gravity feed, still got an RRV and can assure you there is no pump.
The early 893 engined bikes did, try David Silver Spares.

Something like this should do. As long as it's for a carbed engine.

That looks the same but were they differently rated in terms of what they flow/pump?
