Cortina hub assemblies required including brakes and swivels (as per book).

Can anyone recommend a site where they can be obtained cheaply?

they dont seem cheap these days, maybe around £50 a pair with no discs or calipers usually. Sierras however are cheap and common.

There are places that sell cortina hubs but i dont know any off the top of my head. Someone will hopefully list one!

Fully recon. with calipers, new bearings, discs, pads, etc. Just over £200 the pair.
Very pleased with them.

It may sound expensive but £50 to £60 for a pair of rusty uprights that need stripping, cleaning and painting, buying new bearings, calipers, pads etc probaly not far off £200 in total.

i personally will use sierra hubs, adaptors and astra ball joints on future projects.

i got a set of cortina ones with calipers(m16) for £60 the bloke had two more sets
this was about 2 months ago

I bought a pair of uprights with hubs, discs and calipers for £45. I have just received two sets of wheel bearings (£8.04ea), new discs(£8.04ea) and reconditioned calipers(£27.61ea) which brings the total to £132.38 or £147.67 if you include the VAT on the new bits.

I think the Cortina uprights are much more elegant than the Sierra ones which are just plain ugly (IMHO of course...)
