sprouts-car - 30/7/08 at 01:42 PM

Does anyone have, or know a place that has mushroom inserts for sierra uprights for sale?

Also, does anyone have the drum brakes for an english axle for sale?

Cheers, Chris

Re brakes unless you plan to Autotest the car go for discs it is now the cheaper option.

Escort Mk3 240mm dia solid front discs (also used on early Sierras) -- dirt cheap

I have link on another PC for brackets to take Sierra rear calipers.

what about the calipers? I assume they also need to be cable operated for the handbrake. Also the bracket to hold the caliper?

short track 123 on here sells brackets to convert to disc. The disc centre will not fit over the half shaft hub without a bit of a tweak, the disc centre is a bit too small so grind the outside off the rear hub. Some here on ebay.
