I have a 1600 engine complete! Not sure viscous or not drop me a message if this is any use.

I guess it would need to be from a cortina or escort to be a non-viscous type (all mine are sierra / mk3 granada ones and all have viscous fans)

btw - are you offering me the pulley, or do I need to take the whole engine
(I've already got 4 pinto's and counting !)

just the pulley....... unless you want the whole thing .
And I've just looked and mine is a viscous I'm afraid.

anyone else?

You can unbolt the viscous fan and use the bare pulley, that's the usual course of action. Watch out for the left hand thread though.

I've done that - it was seized solid so I had to chop it up to get the pulley out

but the new pump is the non-viscous type, and has a slightly smaller centre spigot to locate the pulley
the bolts line up no problem, but I want to hold it in the centre properly if I can (rather than have a wobily pulley)

the easiest way would be to get hold of the right pulley, but failing that I'll turn up a spacer on the lathe
