not sure if in right place, but was after recommendations of any books people have found particularly useful with their build.

I know a lot of the titles going round, but wanted ones people have actually read

many thanks

Well i suppopse the "How to build a sportscar..." is a good start, although most on here will say not enough detail.

I also got the Avon book (How to build your own Avon Tiger).

Both of these books were inspirational to me, but again neither were enough to actually build a locost!!

A Haynes manual of your donor is a good idea too. £1 from Ebay for my Sierra one. Even Metal Hippy found a 5 series Beemer haynes manual for a quid at Newark show.

Enjoy - and hope santa brings one or two of them for you...

"Designing and building special cars" by Andre Jute ISBN 0713407786

A bit old (but so am I!), but full of maths and tips about suspension science
