WTD - brake drum part?!(dont know the name)

handbrake lever part inside the drum escort axle, as in the picture below, i need one for each side can anyone help as to where to get them or have them kicking around the garage

i had looked for a pair for my car but in the end i just oiled and cleaned the ones i had as it seemed easier and mine were rusted to f*ck woork fine now though

Handbrake self adjusting mechanisms. I lost one during my build. Managed to get one through a local garage. Pretty sure they got it from Ford.

Yep that part cost me an SVA failure plus session on rolling road to verify speedo

Make sure the linkages are all free to move and are well greased.

In my case, the right andlged arm thingy was not releasing the drums so the passenger side wheel dragged thus due to diff action messed up my speedo as sensor was on river side wheel.

As for the part, sorry don;t have one but check ebay - also there is a Ford breaker that adveretiser in the mag, is where I got my drums/backpates from. You could try speedshck - they sell s/h ford escort 2 bits.

Just a thought....

As above, or use a set of adaptor brackets and fit discs.
