Two rod ends. A piece of Hex bar. A friend with a lathe.
Looks pretty simple. Not sure the alternator is very well supported in that install though?

i used a small s/s rigging screw about 5mm, cut the ends off and weld on a bit of s/s tube to the end on the alt and i cant rember what i put on the
other end but it works beacause of the left and right hand thread and it has locking nuts fitted to stop it coming loose, cost was bout £10
