Guys, I've been rebuilding a robin hood that I bought on ebay. I've started putting it back together now, but I have lost a nut of the front one of the front ball joints, i have one nut (from the other side)and have taken round a few local fastner suppliers and they dont stock them. I was wondering does any one on here have one knock around that I could buy of them (i dont want to have to buy a new ball joint just to get a nut).

no local ford dealers? Thing is with that your probably best buying an original part rather than a possibly lower grade version. They are an annoying size of thread to find. Even a dealers shouldn't rip you off too much for a nut...

You could try Pugh and Sanders.

The nut was missing from one of the ball joints that I was supllied with and they had one. Not sure if they are mail order though.

Westfields website www.westfield-sportscars.co.uk also has several nuts for the front suspension, you could ask them to supply the nut only.

Ford dealer would be best bet
