Mozilla Firefox is the one to try

Daimo_45 - 9/2/09 at 05:47 PM

FireFox. Anyone who still uses IE should go back to typewriters.

Firefox and Google Chrome are the two big players -- Google Chrome isn't that well supported yet but it will be.

Seamonkey is another version of Firefox but more like the old Netscape Navigator suite.

Of the others Avanti is just a dressed up Internet Explore, Opera is a love or hate thing --- personally I think it is pants.

Firefox for me too

I tried Firefox a couple of years ago - and there's no way I'd ever go back to explorer

Humbug - 9/2/09 at 05:51 PM

I use Firefox for my own stuff, but some websites (including some of my company's applications) only work properly with IE

Safari is good too. If the computer is slowing down just reinstall windows. Gets rid of all the crap bit obviously back up your important things to a separate drive first.

Firefox here too. Haven't updated to the latest version yet though as I heard this site doesn't display properly.

Can anyone tell me if its ok yet?

Shadowcaster - 9/2/09 at 08:11 PM

Another vote for Firefox way more stable than IE

I'm using V3.0.5 and it displays OK for me. There is a addon somewhere if you can only see it in a narrow strip down the left hand side of the screen..

Firefox or Opera for me. Not at all convinced about the Google browser, especialy as it appeared to get installed automaticly when I installed Google Earth (to show the nipper Santa flying around on Christmas eve )
