Exactly what I was thinking!! Lego isn't cheap, if Caterham are charging a licence fee for the name then it could be quite an expensive ornament.

Although the sad person inside me would want to collect all four...

Love Lego and Caterhams, but they're not for me I'm afraid.

Roll on Christmas. That will be the first kit car I'll build with my son. I'll also own a Caterham by then too

Damn right! I've just built the Technical crane and its fantastic. Got the better half primed to get me a blue one...

It'll take me 4 years and cost twice as much as I expected
I'll need loads of spare pieces and it'll never be truly finished

Yer, depending on price!

I don't think they'll make a kawasaki green one mind

The front wheels are wider than the arches and some of the edges look a bit sharp - it will never get through IVA

I'm going to wait for the cheaper Westfield version

here is a locost version made by my daughter a few years ago, an edible one to boot.

Nah, that's the Lego Locost.

As it's a Lego Caterham, will fit together straight out of the box and a reasonably bright chimp should be able to put it together in a few hours... but you'll need to take out a second mortgage to pay for it.

I wonder if the guy who created it (Carl Greatrix, according to the article) is any relation to Chris Greatrix (aka Cymtriks; he of the Locost chassis structural analysis)?
