Don't quite know what you have control over apart from the burner, once they go up they go where the wind takes them, a bit of fun trying to follow for a while but I can sure think of other things to spend $1800 on! I have a nice little helium indoor blimp with RC that cost me £60 is great fun for playing with cats!

Yes, i saw an rc blimp at olympia a few years ago. It looked great fun but defo not for outdoor use. Even the heat body from crowds made it jump all over the place.
