Does anyone know if they stayed as fairly similar dimensions over the years are they all 44-45 cm wide (i.e. correct for my Luego), looking at at Polo IV rad but can't find a size for it
No, its the earlier one you need.
The newer ones are too wide.
My old one is spare, but has a few bent fins on it.
One of these is what you need:

Thanks chaps, don't know what I'd do without you
Rather tasty brand new Mk 2 one ordered, anyone need a working (no leaks) but scruffy Cortina rad, free!
I also araldited blobs at each end a couple of strips of ally to the top and bottom of the fins to stop them getting damaged, glad I did as I've
managed to bend that a little
Cheers
Rich
^^ I did the same top and bottom as I hate the look of dented fins
Thats great idea will do that if i ever replace mine.
Its only a year old but the top fins are all bent and look a mess

Rad's been delivered and very tasty is is too (thanks for the advice on it I'm smiley happy), £22 brand new, much smaller and about half the
weight of my old one.
Quick question, do the mounting lugs need self tappers or small bolts, m2 ish
When i replaced the rad on one of my wifes friends polo it used self tappers to hold the rad in place.
Not that great really!

There is a rinky-dinky little plastic tool on the market for straightening radfiator fins -- can't remember where I saw it.
