wtd: help!
Does anyone have a 87/90BG hazard switch/flasher switchgear from a sierra which I could beg/steal/borrow/buy for my IVA retest next week.
Everythings sorted now and suddenly the hazard switch is broken, the mechanical part of the switch which stops the button springing up (and on) is
damaged through use and now it comes up every few seconds.

If you're stuck then just so you know IVA retest should only test items you've failed on, or it did in my experience, so if you
didn't fail (or require retest on) your hazards, just glue the button down and look for a replacement at your lesiure

They sometimes get sticky with disuse. Operate several times and give it a spray of electrical cleaner or WD40. Might save it!?

I might have a hazard switch that you can have FOC. It came with the loom for my car but I used Savage switches instead. Let me know if you want me to
look for it.

wow thanks for the responses,
its definitely not sticky, its the opposite - it wont stay latched off but thanks for the suggestion!
The hazard switch is integral to one side of the stalks wheels244, but if you could dig it out I'd happily throw some petty cash your way.
I did consider gluing it, but my IVA examiner is very picky and I'm sure he'll have a fiddle with the hazards as he did intermittently on
the first test..

I'll have a look tomorrow Craig. If you can't source an original you could ways do away with it and dash
mount mine ( if I can find it )

Sorry Craig
I couldn't find it, I must have slung it with the rest of the loom.
Good luck with your search and IVA.
