WTD: 1997 1.0lt VW Polo Gearbox

Girlfriend has mentioned a "funny noise" from her car. Sadly I've been too lazy/busy to check out what the problem was.... until 3AM last night when we stopped for coffee at Membury services and couldn't get going again. Finally got home at 8am.

Turns out most of the oil has dropped out the bottom of the box! The leak is at the seal between the 2 halves of box. So i anticipation of it being lunched I'd like a replacement.

She couldn't get it into gear at all... although the AA man could *just* when he tried it this morning.

Anyone got a working box for a 1997 1.0lt Polo please?

Thanks!

James

always had some great results with the BMW breakers on there. good prices and reasonable deliver. got a drivers door for £40 with next day delivery a few years back
