Hi,
I will need a Decompression plate soon for my MGB engine & will probably have to buy one, & may get it from this guy, his e mail is:-
miketanski@gmail.com , only downside is he will want a tad more than beer money. All the best with it though, let us know how you get on.
Brian.

what is a decompression plate? is it just a steel plate that goes between the block and head? contact andyw7de he might be able to sort something out
for you.
do you need to use 2 gaskets with them?

hi Blake,
you are correct mate.It is a plate that goes between the block and head,
to lower the compression ratio when fitting a turbo/supercharger.
Some say use a pair of gaskets and some say to use one gasket with sealant
between the block and plate.
Some say that its a bodge as well but i will give it a go first

Depending on how much you want to spend, Cometic do some thick ones for turbo conversions

Try Ferraday engineering. They were the ones I'm planning on using if I ever get my blower install done.

Is it the same as for a silver top? If so, I've got one. What's it worth? Is £30 too much?
