Fuel vent valve wanted
Can anyone point me in the direction of a vent valve for my fuel tank? It needs to be the type that lets air in and out of the tank but won't
let fuel past. Had a look on ebay, the only one i saw was from demon tweeks and they wanted around £40 for one! Are the pit bike ones any good? Do
they let fuel pass both ways?

Not sure if IVA would accept this now as a vent but this is what I passed SVA on. I simply drilled into the filler tube, inserted a Nutsert as a bush
and then glued a coil of brake line in with Araldite.

Isn't that a one way valve? Not one which will allow air in and out but stop fuel.

I've got one of those and it is a one way valve, it would allow air in take up the space of the used fuel but won't let air out to allow
for expansion. Is expansion much of a problem with only a 25 litre ali tank, i know it can cause problems with plastic tanks of 60 litres and over.

I used a modified sierra vent tube. It has a ball bearing in to prevent fuel loss in a roll over. Cost nowt.
