Alternator Mount for Pinto
Need an alternator mount for a pinto in an Indy. Dont have the tools to knock one up myself.

I think one from a 1600 Cortina gives you more room, and its ali.

cortina was alloy? i thought it was only the capri's had alloy ones

I foun that the alloy alternator bracket for the Pinto still clashes with the Indy's steering column. I also found that the standard Pinto
alternator is too large for the Indy's engine bay. I've got a little Nippon Denso alternator and I've fabricated (no welding) a
bracket from 75mm angle.

My cortina had an ali alternator mount, but sometimes people do call me special!
