That one is a bit of a bargain for someone. I tried to persuade my Mrs to get it so we could have his and hers Strikers but she is happy that we have
just one and share it

Having built a few strikers i know what it takes, and costs to put one together, Even for sub £2K the spend will be at least another £3K to get it in
one piece to a decent spec. Even for a track car it will be best part of £2.5K on top of kit to get it together, so £5K realistically. If it had some
sort of engine/box/prop then it might add up.

I might buy one too from the money I'd save from not building the Striker

Can't believe you think finishing the striker to track day standard would cost so much, all you need to do is chuck an engine in it

I don't disagree with that. Just a quick add up of all the bits and peaces in that car for sale from the current Raw price list an its over
£7.5K new so £2K for that rolling chassis is a bargain.
Why are Strikers so undervalued in the second hand market? Put 'Westfield' or 'Caterham' on it and it would be worth twice the
price and yet those in the know often prefer the Striker for its handling I can't believe this has not sold for the asking price let alone
the drop to £2k.
The parts for my current Striker build are the wrong side of £13K but almost everything is new (other than the engine, chassis, diff, gearbox and a
few more odds and sods which are all rebuilt to as-good-as-new), if I started again and bought all new other than the engine then its over £20K I
doubt I could sell it for half that much when finished and yet it should be able to embarrass a Caterham 420 with sport pack and a few other options
to match mine and that would cost just under £40k in kit form (or £44k fully built)

Still don't understand why someone hasn't snapped it up, its a real bargain for someone that wants to build a new Striker

I had probably the best Striker in the country which cost me around £12K to get to what it was in the end. My figures wont be much out with Craigs
car, £5K total as a minimum to get usable. Not huge money but you can get a reasonable Striker for not much more without touching a spanner.
Might just wait it out this year and look at spending a realistic budget next year to get a properly sorted track biased car, then again the Vectis
looks interesting lol
