Hi,
Seriously considering selling my V8 CEC. Currently taxed and insured but I need to get the MOT renewed.
Quite honestly the challenge for me was building the car and I just don't seem to have the time to drive the car as often as it deserves.
I'm not 100% sure I can bring myself to sell it but I'd be tempted by the right offer. I was planning to do some work on it in the spring
with a view to attracting offers but maybe we can do a deal sooner than that if it's of interest.
Build diary here. http://www.meerkats.uk.com/meerkat-rv8-build/
The diary is a bit out of date but the car hasn't changed too much. Located in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire so not too far from you. I can organise an
MOT within a week or so.
Let me know if of interest. No worries if not.
Cheers,
Craig.

This looks worth tracking if you are after a bit of a project -
Sylva/Raw striker is one of the better chassis to have (some would say the best !). Worth doing the due diligence on the registrations (hint - should
be registered as a sylva striker and not a Dutton or an escort). Also worth checking out what diff ratio it has and what rear axle (independent or
live, performance wise not a lot of difference but different diff ratios available if you need to swap, look for something around 3.2:1 if you can if
it has a sierra 3.6 or a live axle which will be 3.54 lowest then you will have a limited top end speed). As it is advertised as a Sylva then it is an
older kit so worth checking SVA and registration dates.
If you can get it cheap, spend £1k on tidying up and making it road legal and it will be a very good car to drive.
Silva Stryker zx9 kit car
Worth noting £6k is at the low end of a good fully built/properly registered car so may be worth picking up a project or ensuring you have your
expectations set in the right ballpark.
