Felt Washers
You guys are great at turning up stuff, I’m having difficulty sourcing polyester felt washers ID 8mm OD 12mm Thickness 1.5mm. Only need six to replace
on carb throttle shafts, manufacturer doesn’t list them and I’m not finding anywhere.

Is it not possible to make your own?
A 12 mm and 8mm hole punch with some 1.5 mm thick felt?
A wooden jig to align the holes if you cannot do it by eye and hole position is critical.
You would punch he inner hole first. Note you need to test the material to see if it copes with the heat.
What is the purpose of them? Are they to hold oil for lubrication as they certainly cannot be for sealing, so can another material be used?

A slight flaw in the cunning plan.
I have some 1mm ish black felt, when compressed, and just had a go with the 8mm punch (I don't have a 12mm).
I wasn't able to punch through but no problems with 2mm gasket material.
An alternative may be to clamp the felt between 2 pieces of wood or aluminium and use an 8 mm drill, then roughly cut the felt and clamp between two
12mm washers and cut around with a sharp blade.
I'm sure it's doable just a matter of figuring out how.

Ah calling them felt seals rather than washers turns up results. £30 for 6!! Will look at the Locost version.
