Gearbox Oil Seal
Does anyone know where I can get an oil seal for my 4 speed ford box.
It's number 32.

They go to a lot of shows as well or do mail order. They supplied my Type9 rear seal.
Are they easy to fit? I need to do mine before fitting the prop.

We ended up getting 2 seals from a local engineering co.
Half the thickness, so there's 2 of 'em in there now I've also degreased the whole car so we can put a new interior in there
without getting it covered in gear oil, I feckin' 'ate the smell of gear oil
Fingers crossed, although if it does start leaking again I'll know where to get a proper one from
BTW Changing it was easy enough (once we'd got the axle off to remove the prop, I'm sick of taking the engine out
With it in situ, just twat the original 'til its misshapen enough to come out then drift the new one in. Not so much engineering as
blacksmithing
