1600 xflow, gearbox and axle
Hi all
i'm after a 1600 crossflow engine with ideally a 5 speed box (4 speed considered), and also an english axle for my mate. preferably in the
midlands area.
i'm trying to get him started in the kit car world

How much is your mate thinking of spending?
EDIT: I mean how much is whoever wants the engine and gearbox thinking of spending?

its for my mate (i've already got one kit car on the go and wouldn't be able to managed two, or afford it)
i'm not sure how much he wants to spend at the moment, but i'll see him tomorrow and find out.
i the mean time anything at any price is considered

I guess he'll have no trouble finding what he wants. Plenty on ebay and plenty in the rally dismantler sites.
Otherwise contact me.
I also know of a couple of complete cortina donors locally that would be worth pursuing.

I have a mk 2 escort axle for sale dood.. Its 8" with locost brackets welded on.
Brakes in good condition.
Looking for £40.
