Escort track rod ends

Both the track rod ends on my Esc Mk2 steering rack have split, well to be more accurate, the rubber has perished and split all the way around.

I bought them from my local motor factors and they must've been really old stock, the rubber has gone "plasticky" and they've been on the car less than a year

Anywhere online I can buy a pair that will last longer than 9 months without falling to pieces ?

Experiences ?

Cheers all

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
