4.8mm Countersunk Rivets

Anyone got any?

Nowhere near me stocks them in 12-14mm length and I only need 50.

Thanks,

Pat...

Thanks, but none of them say countersunk.

Thanks Mark - I'll give them a ring. How did the move go?

Hi Pat,
Not too bad thanks, never spent so much on fuel in such a short space of time or done that many miles......two trips in 3 days is a bit mad but saved a small fortune on removal firms.

Trident sell k-nuts and allsorts of trick goodies and well worth a visit, they are on the road that takes you over Abbey bridge at Silverstone circuit(on your right as you pass the gestapo box)

Cheers
Mark

try this company

Huck magnaloks are what I have used, damn expensive but they will not shear like 'pop' rivets and will last a hell of a lot longer. They are aircraft spec structural rivets and will provide a far better grip.

HI Pat ,I have only just seen this, but I have a few spare if you are still stuck.

4.8x14 ally head,steel shank countersunk.

I used them for my alloy side panels where they overlap, they look much neater.

I also used 1/8" csk for the top of the side panels along the engine bay so that they dont rub on the bonnet lip.

Dean.......

Once I've finished a project why do I start another?

All my other panels will only be sika'd on, but thanks for the idea.
