Ford prop shaft needed
Hello
We are looking for a ford prop shaft to fit a 5 speed type 9 with a 1" rather that 3/4" spline.
It needs to be the type that go's straight from the spline to the UJ not the type with a big rubber coupling.

You should ring Bailey Morris, they make excellent prop-shaft's made to measure.
140 quid delivered, and worth every penny - completely balanced and weighted.
Would you risk something 'cheap' spinning at that speed next to ya A$$? I know I wouldn't :p

Transit one.
Tranny don't have the rubber donut in them.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

If you get BM to do it, they change the UJ's to circlipped ones as the Ford ones are staked in.
Which means its a pain to change the U/j's later should you need to. BM made an excellent job of both my props. (Son's Plastic Pig / Jago
needed a new prop)
Also they are only at St Neots, / Eaton Socon. ie Local.
Good job and worth the noney.

Not sure of the length but the flange on the diff is vauxhall viva. I can messure the length later.
The thing is I have the old shaft but it is to laong and has the wrong spline as we changed the gearbox from 4 speed to a 5 speed.
