Stainless Steel

Does anyone have an offcut of Stainless Steel plate?

We're looking for a piece, roughly 150mm x 150mm x 6mm thick and not having much joy at present.

I'll have a look at work in the morning, but I doubt it, we don't usually work with much more than 3mm.

Have you tried Metalsupermarket? They will try to help, but they're not cheap.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the application, that needs to be so thick?

Mike

Thanks fellas. It's going to be machined into a doughnut for bolting our new silencer to. It Doesn't necessarily have to be 6mm but would be preferable.

If someone can confirm they've got a piece, I'll drop a U2U with my address. Cheers.
