sheet steel
hi guys,
if i was to say im looking for a large sheet of 3mm thick mild steel
155cm long by 80cm wide
with two square holes cut in it 20cm x 20cm
with the centres 17cm from the outside edge (on the long plane) and in the middle of the short plane
like this
roughly not to scale

I've got that much 3mm sheet steel loafing around my garage, you'd have to cut it yourself though (I just mark it out and use the angle
grinder - not accurate but good enough for most things....)

there is man in watford that can do this - not sure about delivery but not too far from you so can't you pick it up?

Carefully mark out, cut the outer shape with your hacksaw, chain drill out the centre squares and file to shape - you don't need companies
unless you need a large number made up

It's in centimetres not milimetres. 1550mm x 800mm is a long way to saw 3mm plate with a hacksaw
