micra fan switch

still looking for a mk 1 nissan micra rad fan switch, priced one up from local motorist discount shop and they want £20 seems a bit steep, does anybody know of any other switch that will fit or has anybody got 1 lying about surplus to requiremnts for sale.

You can buy one from C*terham for less than that . Look in their shop . All the ones I've seen use the same thread.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

aren't all or at least most fan switches the same thread, just different temp ranges and connections? the connector plug won't be used, so as long as you can get spades to fit, that'll do, and then just pick a suitable temp range.

if you're really desperate, take the rad down to halfords and ask to go through their fan switches box to find the right one. they will let you, honest.
