Ford type 9 and starter motor

I'm looking for a ford type 9 and starter motor to match a 1.8 zetec in good condition.

I need a person who ship the box to south america and accept paypal.

Thank you.

The starter motor you want is off a Sierra CVH.

I got one off a 1.8 CVH sierra and that fits my Type9 box, bolted to a 2.0 1995 Zetec.

Cheers,

Murray

I suspect an XR2 one would fit too.

I've got both parts, but it will be expensive to ship them due to the weight!

First thanks for your replies.

You mean an xr2 fiesta?? I thought it was a front wheel drive car, isn't it?

It is, but I'm pretty sure the starter is the same as the Sierra CVH one (and a lot easier to come by!)

hmmm, have you considered using engine/gearbox of a donr that is more common in your part of the world? I suspect the shipping is going to be horrendloulsy expensive; you are looking at over 50 kg all packed up.

I know, I'm trying to find out how to ship something like that!!!

The thing is, I can't get a gearbox to match a zetec (only a type 2 from a 1600 escort, but I can't get a starter that fit this combination)

There aren't more RWD options here, and 1600 escorts are destroyed and no new parts for rebuild.

Thank you very much.

Are you sure it works with a zetec 1.8?

How much do you want for it?

Can you tell me the distance from hole to hole in the starter (I know there are 3 of them)

Thank you very much.
