I've got 18" of 1" RHS but its really heavy duty stuff, i would guess its 12 gauge.
I'll have another look while i'm in the cave this afternoon

if all else fails john i can send you either 1.6 or 2mm tubing, a little rusty but fine aside from that

ta for the offer joel but mr postie wants too much these days,if bob cant help ive found a place that will sell short lengths,also i forgot about the
diags in the engine bay so looks like i will need a full length afterall
