LOL

Im in a difficult geographical position, im halfway between tight yorkshiremen and tight scots!!!! That means i feel compelled to be doubly tight!!

ive had some good news. SMS bike spares in Skelton (Dave Fielder 01430 432264) has a set of trumpets for me - order is being posted today. They supply Boggs with most of their carb kits. Interestingly he told me R1 carb kits are getting hard to come by now and fetch big money. Boggs have been using Blackbird carbs as a result which are also getting hard to find. Recently they have been using ZZR1100 carbs. God news for me. Once i get the trumpets i can source sock filters.

Does anyone have a set of suitable K&N sock filters?

If you are going to use sock filters use the double socks as they have a wire frame in them, the socks that are just foam have been known to get sucked into the bell mouths.
